SONG REVIEW: SENDELERA- JAY JAY C FT BLACKA FELLA & MASSA VEGA

The Mabilinganya youngster Jay Jay C has a good taste of catchy hooks. No matter what he is singing he always put a dope chorus for it and his new release Sendelera is no exception. Collaborating with the legendary Blacka Fella & Massa Vega of the Don dadah Alliance was quite a good choice for a hit setup but an honest Jay Jay C fan will tell you that the song is not as exciting as expected. Apart from bad instrumental choice, the worst thing about Sendelera is that its hook partly resembles that of his massive hit single “Jangiliya”. The resemblance is purely noticeable that one may wonder why Jay Jay C could let that happen. Or was is maybe a deliberate move, I doubt it! The leading hip hop gospel artist Gwamba recently posted on his twitter handle that he has atleast 10 people who listen to his every track before he releases it so that he should atleast be shown mistakes he couldn’t see himself. If JJC had pre-listeners who truly tell him what is really missing and not swaggin’ in his songs. Apart from the hook, The Don Dadah’s equally didn’t deliver what people expected from them, maybe time has swallowed the talent that was once their own.
